Side effects:

The most common side effects of L-Asparaginase are:

Headache, nausea, vomiting, Unusual bleeding or bruising, drowsiness, Breathlessness, Rash, Angioedema (swelling of deeper layers of skin), Edema (swelling), Fatigue, Increased liver enzymes, Diarrhea, Decreased blood pressure, Flushing (sense of warmth in the face, ears, neck and trunk), Low albumin level in blood, Increased glucose level in blood, Hives. Tell your doctor or pharmacist right away if any of these side effects persist or worsen.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
